Teesside Trade Directory is operated by 360 Media Works Ltd (company no. 12691769), registered office Varsity House, 2 Falcon Court, Preston Farm Industrial Estate, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 3TS. 360 Media Works Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this site and is registered with the ICO (registration 00015071714).

What we collect

If you contact us or submit an enquiry (by form, phone or email), we collect the details you give us, typically your name, business name, phone number, email address and trade. Calls to our trade enquiries line may be recorded.

How we use it

We use your details to respond to your enquiry, to create or update a directory listing you ask for, and, where you enquire as a tradesperson, to discuss providing job enquiries to you. We do not sell your personal data.

Our lawful basis for this is our legitimate interest in running the directory and handling enquiries and, where you enquire as a tradesperson about working with us, taking steps towards a contract.

Our own trade enquiry form and call handling are run through GoHighLevel, who process those enquiry details on our behalf.

Consumer quote forms

Some quote forms on this site are provided by our quote partner Bark.com. When you complete one, the details you enter (name, contact details, postcode and job description) go directly to Bark, who share them with rated local professionals so they can contact you with quotes. This happens under Bark's privacy policy, and Bark is the controller of that enquiry data. We never see or store the details you enter; we receive only anonymised conversion reporting from Bark and may be paid a fee for the introduction. Enquiries sent through our own trade enquiry form or contact details are handled by us as described above.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd) to understand how the site is used. It sets cookies (such as _ga) and collects usage information including pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and your IP address, which is not stored in full. Quote forms provided by Bark are loaded from Bark's servers and may set their own cookies in your browser, including when the form is opened, under Bark's privacy policy. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.

Directory listings

Business listings are compiled from publicly available sources and are limited to business contact details already in the public domain. If you would like your listing updated or removed, email [email protected] and we will action it promptly.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Contact [email protected] to exercise any of these rights. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.

Retention

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-on relationship, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
